Just like you . . .
Growing up in a middle-class family, without the benefits of Ivy League schooling, an inheritance, or a six-figure job, I didn't know the first thing about investing - probably just like you. I didn't understand the stock market and never heard of a mutual fund. In my late 20's, I was fortunate to get an office job with an investment banking firm in Manhattan. As I watched those around me build solid financial futures and plan for comfortable retirements, I learned that a careful, steady, long-term investment strategy was far better than simply saving money in a low-interest bank account.
If I, a self-taught investor, can learn the fundamentals of stock market investing, so can you!
